An absolutely mega fun class, where children from the age of 8 can try scuba for the first time.
The class will start off with an instructor showing you how the equipment works and how to breathe underwater, simply blowing bubbles. To help build confidence, the class will include lots of games, the like of which you've probably never seen before.
Games like Aqua disc (underwater Frisbee), Toypedo (underwater rocket), treasure hunt and so many more. By the end of the class you will be amazed at how easy and fun scuba is. You will also receive a certificate to show to all your friends. This may be your first time using scuba but will not be your last, as we have loads more courses going on.
No experience required, you do not have to be a good swimmer, just comfortable in water.
Parents/guardians must complete and sign Padi statement prior to class
Minimum age 8 years
Maximum depth 2m(7ft)
Maximum ratio 6:1 instructor (normally 3:1 as we also have a divemaster in the water as well)
Approx Duration 1hr 30mins
From here, you can go on to do the Seal Team, Master Seal Team and even your Junior open water courses.
